New Dimensions Ultrasound has been established to serve the North West region and beyond for antenatal scans. During this magical time of pregnancy, by using the latest technology, you will be able to see the moving image of your baby in the womb. We have a variety of scan packages available to choose from.

The Sonographers are all qualified, highly experienced and registered with their professional regulatory body. The principal Sonographer is also the owner of New Dimensions, with 15 years clinical and managerial experience having managed a busy Ultrasound department within the NHS. The co-owner also has a medical background and is presently employed to manage Health and Safety legislation within the NHS.

At our ultrasound suite within First Trust Hospital, Preston, the emphasis is on spending time seeing your baby, without the time constraints when conventional scans are performed within a busy antenatal clinic. We realise that many parents welcome the opportunity for another scan to see their unborn baby in relaxed and leisurely surroundings. At New Dimensions we are able to offer this, with the exciting experience of seeing your baby.

Ultrasound scans provide a genuine bond between the mother and unborn baby, and provides the father and siblings with an exiting opportunity to see the new addition to the family. The 4D scan allows you the see the features of your baby, especially facial appearances, such as blinking, swallowing and sucking his / her thumb.

We use the latest technology based ultrasound equipment. To optimise viewing of the image there is a large LCD TV screen - no more craning of your neck to see the TV monitor! For your comfort during the scan, we have an electronically operated ultrasound couch.
